Urban Fantasy Writing Advice from Susan Wright

By Jason Boog

At the mediabistro.com Book Club last week, urban fantasy author Susan Wright shared some practical advice for aspiring authors. While the quality of the video embedded is pretty lo-fi (terrible lighting combined with Flipcam footage), her advice is very useful.

The next Book Club is scheduled for August 17th, 2010. If you are an author interested in participating, you can apply at this link.

Wright is the author of Confessions of a Demon and many other books. Here’s more about Confessions: “After accidentally stealing the life force from a dying demon, Allay became the only human-demon hybrid in existence. Because demons feed off of human emotions, Allay decided the safest way to live as a demon and still retain some semblance of humanity would be to open a bar and drink from her patrons’ pain and torment.”
