University of New Orleans Press Publishing Lab is seeking full-length, nonfiction manuscripts for their annual prize.
The winner will receive a $1000 advance on royalties and their book will be the subject of a publishing class directed the imprint’s publisher. Submissions are due by August 15th and the submission fee is $18.

The finalists are read by students at our publishing institute in the fall of 2016, and one is chosen to become a book. The class will focus on making the book a critical and commercial success upon its release in the spring of 2017.
