TIME’s Favorite Books For Young Readers

TimeTIME has chosen its favorite books for  young readers in this week’s issue. The issue includes lists of the magazine’s 100 Best Young Adult Books and 100 Best Children’s Books of all time. We’ve got the top 5 on each list for you below.

The magazine put together the list with input from U.S. Children’s Poet Laureate Ken Nesbitt, children’s-­book historian Leonard Marcus, the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature among others.

Top 5 Young Adult Books (Ages 12 and up)
