Tim Miller will not be directing the Deadpool movie sequel. According to Entertainment Weekly, the filmmaker came to this decision due to creative differences between himself and actor Ryan Reynolds.
Here’s more from Variety: “While Miller had not formally signed on to helm the sequel, he was in the process of developing the script and was widely expected to return. The source said the split with the project was amicable.”
Reynolds has agreed to come back as the “Merc with a Mouth” along with screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The movie studio projects that Deadpool 2 will hit theaters in March 2018. (via Vulture)
