The Rothschild Prayerbook, a Renaissance manuscript with illustrations from early 16th century artists including Gerard Horenbout and Simon Bening, is up for auction from Christie’s.
The last time the book went on sale back in 1999, it fetched $13 million setting a world record for its category.

Boasting an illustrious provenance, it joined the fabled collections of the Rothschild family in the 19th century.”
