Stieg Larsson‘s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has sold one million digital copies. Reportedly, this is the first time a single title has achieved such a feat.
Here’s more from The New York Times: “Several publishers said they had individual authors, like Nora Roberts of Penguin Group USA, who has sold more than a million digital copies of all her combined books. The Millennium trilogy has sold nearly 17 million copies in the United States.”
Last year, eBookNewser reported when Larsson became the first author inducted into the “Kindle Million Club” as combined Kindle sales of all three Millennium books hit the 1 million mark. Currently, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo holds the #42 spot on the Kindle “Top 100 Paid” bestseller list.
