Tanya Hall Named CEO at Greenleaf Book Group

A number of publishing job promotions and changes were announced this week.

Greenleaf Book Group founder Clint Greenleaf will step down as CEO and serve as chairman. Tanya Hall, the current COO, has been named his successor.

Two members of the Soho Press editorial team have received promotions. Juliet Grames has been named associate publisher and Mark Doten is now senior editor.

Katy Hershberger has joined Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing as associate director of publicity. Prior to this move, she worked at Bloomsbury Children’s Books for two and a half years.

Lizzy Mason will jump from Disney-Hyperion to Bloomsbury Children’s Books as associate publicity director. Mason has worked on campaigns for several high-profile authors including Ally Carter, Rick Riordan, and Mac Barnett.

Colin Dickerman has been hired to serve as an editorial director at Flatiron Books, an imprint of Macmillan, Inc. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous writers such as Chelsea Handler, Ted Danson, and Sherry Turkle.
