Bonnie Jo Stufflebeam and Peter Brewer hope to raise $5,000 on Kickstarter for a CD called Strange Monsters. It will feature actors reading short fiction pieces and poems set to original music. We’ve embedded a video about the project above.
Here’s more from the Kickstarter page: “The CD project’s title, Strange Monsters, is from my favorite May Sarton poem, ‘My Sisters, O My Sisters’…Monsters are complicated, and sometimes those we think of as monsters are only seen that way because of how we’re taught to see. All of these stories challenge the idea of who the true monsters are.”
