A group of literacy advocates hope to raise $35,000 for their project, Story Time From Space.
The funds will be used to cover the costs of video editing projects and starting up a digital library. We’ve embedded a video about the project above. Here’s more from the Kickstarter page:
“Story Time From Space is a completely unique, inventive and fun educational program that builds on the fantastic adventure of space flight to encourage families & students to participate in reading and science. Story Time From Space interweaves two of the basic educational building blocks: reading and science to develop interest and strengthen skills in both literacy and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).”
