With the release of Doctor Sleep, Stephen King has rocketed to the top of Amazon’s charts this week, currently ranked the most popular author at the online bookseller.
The novel is a sequel to King’s The Shining. While accepting the Mason Prize at George Mason University in 2011, King read an excerpt from the sequel. You can watch that video at this link.
Fox News host Bill O’Reilly is the fourth most popular author on Amazon right now, and his publisher just announced they would print 100,000 copies of Killing Jesus: A History–beyond the first printing of 1.2 million books.
