Soman Chainani 200 (GalleyCat)Soman Chainani has signed a deal with HarperCollins Children’s Books. He plans to write two new books for the School for Good and Evil series: a fourth novel and a companion storybook.

Chainani had this statement in the press release: “I can’t wait to show readers what happens once students graduate from the School for Good and Evil and embark on their quests in never-before- seen kingdoms across the Endless Woods. They’ll not only get to see their favorite Evers and Nevers in action once more, but also see that the fairy tale world is bigger, better — and more dangerous — than they ever.”

Chainani’s latest School for Good and Evil projects include the third novel, entitled The Last Ever After, and the recently released Ever Never Handbook. Antonia Markiet, senior executive editor, negotiated the new acquisition agreement with Peter Knapp, an agent from New Leaf Literary & Media, Inc. The forthcoming novel, entitled Quests For Glory, will be published in Summer 2017. The not-yet-titled companion storybook will follow in Summer 2018.
