Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing to Launch a New Science-Fiction, Fantasy, & Horror Imprint

chandaSimon & Schuster plans to create a new imprint specializing in science fiction, fantasy, and horror books “for readers of all ages.”

Jon Anderson, executive vice president and publisher of Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing, will oversee the not-yet-named imprint. In an interview with Publishers Weekly, he revealed that this imprint will acquire books for readers of “YA and above.”

Anderson expects the imprint to publish 12 to 15 hardcover titles on a yearly basis. Justin Chanda (pictured) has been named publisher. The editorial team includes Joe Monti as executive editor and Navah Wolfe as editor. (via Tor.com)
