Television critic Alan Sepinwall has landed a book deal for his previously self-published book, The Revolution Will Be Televised. Touchstone Books has acquired the rights to the book.
Sepinwall self-published his book about twelve shows that altered the television landscape, earning rave reviews from The New York Times, Time and The New Yorker. As of this 11:30 a.m. ET writing, the book was still available for $6.99 on the Kindle under his “What’s Alan Watching?” self-published imprint.
Here’s more about his career: “Sepinwall has been writing about television for close to 20 years, first as an online reviewer of “NYPD Blue,” then as a TV critic for The Star-Ledger (Tony Soprano’s hometown paper), now as author of the popular blog What’s Alan Watching? on HitFix.com.
