Sean McDonald to Lead FSG’s Experimental Imprint

Sean McDonald is being promoted from vice president and executive editor of FSG to publisher of a the company’s new imprint MCD/FSG.

The imprint will be a lab in which FSG experiments with format aimed at helping the company expand its business. Publishers Weekly has more:

The brainchild of FSG publisher and president Jonathan Galassi, MCD/FSG’s goal is, the publisher said, “to create a space to publish work and experiment with publishing styles, forms, and genres that are at the edges of FSG’s traditions.”

Amazon graduate Daphne Durham will serve as executive editor of the new imprint.
