Scher Foord Joins Scholastic

18f4769Scher Foord has joined Scholastic as vice president, creative for Scholastic.com, the publisher’s content and e-commerce site.

Foord comes to Scholastic from Condé Nast where she served as the executive director, UX and design. In her role at the media company she supported 16 digital properties across the web, mobile, email, apps and social media.

In her new role at Scholastic, Foord will oversee the publisher’s online customer experience strategy and is tasked with creating an immersive e-commerce shopping experience and overall digital marketing strategy. She will report to Dani Nadel, Chief Digital Marketing Officer, Scholastic Clubs and Commerce.

Foord holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
