Sarah Palin Spoofed in Jean Carper Book Trailer

Author Jean Carper imitated former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in a book trailer for her latest title, 100 Simple Things You Can Do to Prevent Alzheimer’s and Age-Related Memory Loss. In the trailer embedded above, Carper donned Palin’s hairdo and red jacket, quipping:  “Gosh darn it, this is the best book on memory loss you are ever going to read.”

Carper has authored more than 20 books; she is currently in her 70s and genetically disposed to Alzheimer’s. Her book offers common sense advice like not smoking and daily multivitamin intake. However, she also makes lesser-known recommendations such as consumption of an apple juice-vinegar mixture and meditation.

Palin recently told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren: “If nobody else wanted to step up, Greta, I would offer myself up in the name of service to the public.” Palin will be releasing her second book, American By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag on November 23rd. HarperCollins plans to initially print 1 million hardcover copies.
