Salon.com has jumped on the bandwagon and started its own reading club.
Already one of our favorite stops for book reviews and features, Salon will now feature a monthly book club, with discussions hosted in the comments section and an author Q&A at the end.
The first selection is Justin Cronin’s ridiculously anticipated vampire novel, The Passage. Laura Miller will get the discussion rolling on the book, which she recently reviewed. The first checkpoint is this Saturday; readers should be to page 246 by then. In other words, get reading.
