RWA Announces Finalists for the 2010 RITA & Golden Heart Awards

rita_award.gifToday the Romance Writers of America (RWA) announced the finalists for both the 2010 RITA Awards and the 2010 Golden Heart Awards.

The RITA nominees were drawn from romance fiction published in 2009, selected from more than 1,000 novels and novellas that were submitted in 12 categories. The winners we be revealed at a special ceremony during the RWA conference in Nashville, Tennessee on July 31st. After the jump, you can check out the Best First Book Finalists. Here’s more about the Golden Heart finalists: “RWA’s Golden Heart Award honors excellence in unpublished romance manuscripts from 2009. More than 1,000 manuscripts were judged in 10 categories. Winners of the awards will be announced July 31, 2010, at the RITA and Golden Heart Awards Ceremony.”
