‘Rookie’ Magazine Editor-in-Chief Tavi Gevinson Lands Two-Book Deal with Razorbill

gevinsonTavi Gevinson, the founder and editor-in-chief of Rookie magazine, has landed a two-book deal with the Penguin Young Readers Group imprint, Razorbill.

ABC News reports that each of Gevinson (pictured, via) plans to create two anthologies, Rookie Yearbook 3 and Rookie Yearbook 4. Prior to this arrangement, the 17-year-old blogger had published the first and second installments of the Yearbook series with Drawn and Quarterly.

Gevinson and her team launched Rookie, an online magazine for teenage girl audiences, in September 2011. She has since also established an acting career. Follow this link to view her TED talk.
