Rodale to Launch a Children’s Publishing Imprint

rodale304Rodale, Inc. announced its intention to form a new imprint called Rodale Kids. The launch date has been scheduled for 2017.

According to the press release, “Rodale Kids plans to publish approximately 30 to 45 books a year, with content aimed at ages ranging from infants (0 to 3) to teens (12 and older) and including fiction and nonfiction picture books, early reader titles, chapter books, how-to nonfiction, gift reference, and Young Adult fitness and self-help.” Some of the authors that will be featured on the inaugural list includes Tracy AndersonKira Willey, and Gino Campagna.

Eric Wight, the creative and editorial director of children’s media, will serve as the head of this new imprint. Gail Gonzales, a vice president and publisher, will work with Wight to oversee it.
