Senior editor Ron Hogan got a tip that former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was at the Flatiron Building in New York City–causing literary Twitter readers to speculate Blagojevich might be shopping a book at the Macmillan offices there.

This public official has not hidden his love of great literature. At two different press conferences during his troubled final months in office, Blagojevich read Rudyard Kipling and Lord Alfred Tennyson poetry to throngs of befuddled reporters.

Here’s more from Hogan’s Twitter-feed: “Macmillan staffer confirms Blago sighting at Flatiron. Memoirs or political thrillers, you make the call!”
