Zelda Williams, the daughter of the late Robin Williams, shared a quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince on Twitter and Instagram in remembrance of her father.
In her posts, Zelda wrote: “You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them…In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night…You – only you – will have stars that laugh.”
Last year, the Oscar-winning actor participated in a Reddit AMA session and spoke of his love for The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. In fact, he would read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series to his children when they were young.
This should not come as a surprise to Williams’ fans; he starred in numerous children’s books film adaptations throughout his career including Hook (1991), Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), and Jumanji (1995). Which books instilled a sense of wonder in you? (via The Huffington Post)
