Several changes have been made to the staff at Rodale Books. One new hire will join the company and two current members have received promotions.
Kathleen Schmidt has come on board as the associate publisher. Before this move, she worked at Running Press as the vice president of marketing and publicity.
Jennifer Levesque now holds the title of vice president and editorial director. Some of titles that Levesque has acquired include the Thug Kitchen cookbooks, The Bulletproof Diet by Dave Asprey, and Balancing in Heels by Kristin Cavallari.
Yelena Gitlin Nesbit has been named executive director of strategic development and communications. Since joining the company in 2008, Nesbit has worked on campaigns for The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone, The End of Overeating by Dr. David Kessler, and Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis.
