A1bCf-Xhe4LAuthor Ernest Cline is excited about the upcoming adaptation of his novel Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg, he revealed in a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) thread.

“It’s all thrills now, really, since I’m blessed enough to have one of the most successful directors in the history of cinema adapting my novel,” he said. “I will confess that when I think about the possibility of John Williams scoring the film, my brain starts to shut down.”

The AMA is the first in two AMAs that the author is doing with the author as part of its new book club. Here is more about the club:

We see a lot of questions/posts asking about bookclubs or friends to talk to about what you are reading, and given the popularity of Ready Player One, we hope a lot of you will enjoy this opportunity to interact with other /r/books community members while reading Cline’s new book on top of the chance to interact with the author once you are done.
