Random House Children’s Books will publish a series of young adult novels that star beloved characters from the DC Comics universe.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Leigh Bardugo will tackle Wonder Woman, Marie Lu will take on Batman, Matt de la Peña will grapple with Superman, and Sarah J. Maas will focus on Catwoman. All four books “will embrace themes of good vs. evil, coming-of-age romance, and superheroes from unexpected places who have the determination to achieve seemingly impossible dreams.”
According to Mashable, the Wonder Woman book will be the first one to come out. The release date has been scheduled for August 2017. The Wonder Woman movie, starring Gal Gadot, is set to hit theaters in July 2017. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
