The first trailer has been unleashed for Denial. According to Slash Film, the story for this film adaptation focuses on the libel suit between Holocaust denier David Irving and historian Deborah E. Lipstadt.
The Huffington Post reports that Lipstadt featured Irving in her 1993 nonfiction book, Denying the Holocaust: The Growing Assault on Truth and Memory. She later chronicled this litigous situation in her 2005 memoir, History on Trial: My Day in Court with David Irving.
The video embedded above offers glimpses of Timothy Spall as Irving and Rachel Weisz as Lipstadt. The theatrical release date has been scheduled for September 30. (via Deadline)
