Rachel Bressler has been named editorial director at Plume, an imprint at Penguin Random House.
Bressler has devoted more than two decades to working in the book publishing industry. Her career history includes positions at Barnes & Noble, the Park Literary Group, and Ecco, an imprint at HarperCollins.
Clare Ferraro, the president at Plume, gave this statement in the press release: “We are happy to have Rachel join Plume as our new Editorial Director. Her extensive experience in sales and marketing as well as editorial will help us to carry out our mission to continue publishing strong paperbacks in a supportive environment for authors.”
