Random House Children’s Books has acquired three new books, along with an eBook original from bestselling author R. J. Palacio.
The publisher will publish 365 Days of Wonder: Mr. Browne’s Book of Precepts, a companion book to support the bestseller Wonder — the story of a fifth grader that goes to school with a facial deformity that sold more than a million copies over the last year. The guide is slated for release on August 26, 2014. Random House also acquired two untitled novels by Palacio. Erin Clarke, Executive Editor at Knopf, will edit these books.
Random House Children’s will also publish an eBook original The Julian Chapter: A Wonder Story, a guide of principles to live by from the mind of Mr. Browne, the English teacher in Wonder. This is slated for publication on May 13, 2014.
