PublicAffairs, an imprint of the Perseus Books Group, has acquired Alex Dehgan’s new book, Snow Leopards in the War Zone.
Colleen Lawrie at PublicAffairs acquired the title from Jessica Papin at Dystel & Goderich (World) for an undisclosed sum.
The book from the former chief scientist for USAID and founder of Conservation X labs, tells Dehgan’s story of trying to protect Afghanistan’s wildlife while a war was going on in the background.
Dehgan has worked on wildlife conservation and foreign policy in settings turbulent settings from Iraq and the Himalayans to southeastern Madagascar and Central & South America.
