Portland Gallery to Host a Dark Horse Comics Employee Art Show

Work Horse Poster (GalleyCat)Dark Horse Comics intends to launch an art show that displays work by company staff members. The Sequential Art Gallery + Studio will host the “Work Horse: Art by the People Who Make Your Comics” show.

This exhibition will be made available for viewing at this Portland-based gallery from December 1 to 26. An opening reception will take place at 6 p.m. on December 1.

Here’s more from the press release: “After several discussions between employees, it was discovered that there are many talented, artistic employees in all departments who work outside of the office in mediums ranging from paint, photography, and digital art to sculpture and embroidery…The exhibition gives Dark Horse staff the opportunity to put their own awesome work on display, including pieces by Conley Presler (digital art), Ethan Kimberling (design), Rhiannon Rasmussen-Silverstein (production), Melissa Martin (digital art), Rick DeLucco (design), Kelly Woessner (marketing), and more!”
