Inspired by The List, we are asking a similar question–include your thoughts in the comments for a future post. What are the 5 most important moments for digital books, so far?

To make things more complicated, digital books appear to be years behind the digital music adaptation cycle. Without a doubt, some of the pivotal events have not occurred yet. Some suggestions to get you started: Stanza counts one million downloads, Amazon Kindle made available around the world, or mediabistro.com’s upcoming eBook summit (joking!).
