Phaidon & The Met Collaborate on Book Store

Phaidon Press has teamed up with The Met Store to launch a pop-up bookstore inspired by the opening of The Met Breuer.

The Phaidon x The Met Bookstore, which will be up through summer 2016, is located on the fifth floor of the Marcel Breuer building, the museum’s third location. This is the first time the bookseller has partnered with a publisher on such an initiative. The bookstore includes a collection of Phaidon titles on the shelves with The Met’s own publications, almost 300 titles in total. This includes several limited and autographed editions.

“We are proud to be part of the historic milestone of the opening of The Met Breuer,” stated Keith Fox, CEO at Phaidon. “The building’s legacy is inspiring, and Phaidon’s mission is closely aligned with this branch’s cultural, aesthetic, and artistic identity. To see our beautiful books housed in the ‘Phaidon x The Met Bookstore,’ with its iconic window and design, is truly a dream come true.”
