Penguin Books to Publish Book on the Mysteries Surrounding Malaysian Airlines Flight 370

penguinlogoPenguin Books plans to publish a book concerning the mysteries surrounding Malaysian Airlines Flight 370.

The book, entitled Crashed: What the World’s Most Mysterious Airplane Disasters Teach Us About Design, Technology, and Human Performance, is being penned by aviation writer Christine Negroni. Associate editor Emily Murdock Baker negotiated the deal with Anna Sproul-Latimer of the Ross Yoon Agency; Baker secured world rights. No release date has been announced.

According to the press release, “the book will explore the various scenarios for what happened to the airplane which departed Malaysia for Beijing on March 8th but disappeared without a distress call nearly one hour later.” It will also “report on the various techniques learned from these events to piece together what happened to the Malaysia Boeing 777, and how lessons from previous air disasters are contributing to the ongoing probe.” What do you think?
