Paul Reubens, an actor best-known for his portrayal of Pee Wee Herman, has landed a guest role on Gotham. Robin Lord Taylor revealed at a New York Comic Con panel that Reubens will play the father of his character, Oswald Cobblepot (a.k.a. The Penguin).
Taylor also confirmed the news with a Twitter post and proclaims that he has “the best tv parents. Legends.”
According to USA Today, Reubens has actually taken on this role in the past. The first time he served as the Cobblepot patriarch was on the set of Tim Burton’s 1992 movie, Batman Returns. (via io9)
