Olivia Taylor Dudley has landed the role of Alice Quinn for an adaptation of Lev Grossman’s The Magicians. In the past, Dudley has guest starred in several popular TV shows such as The Mindy Project and Arrested Development.
According to the Syfy blog post, other cast members include Jason Ralph as Quentin Coldwater, Stella Maeve as Julia, Hale Appleman as Eliot, Arjun Gupta as Penny, and Summer Bishil as Margo. BuzzFeed reports that Syfy plans to shoot 13 episodes for the first season.
