NYPL’s New E-Reader App Is Now Live

By Dianna Dilworth

The New York Public library has released a new e-book reader app called SimplyE.

The new app is designed to make it easy to borrow e-books from the library’s catalog. The app features a browsing tool so that users can search for books the way they would the shelves at a library. It also has recommendations from librarians, as well as public domain titles that don’t need to be returned.

The app is available in both iOS and Android editions.
