New Kindle Fire Tablets from Amazon

Amazon revealed three new Kindle Fire tablets last night, rolling out a 3.0 edition of the Kindle Fire operating system, a release dubbed “Mojito.”

AppNewser has all the details about the new devices. The new models included the Kindle Fire HD, the Kindle Fire HDX and the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″. Here’s more about the cheapest of the new tablets:

The new Kindle Fire has a 1280×800 resolution 7″ screen with 216 pixels per inch, which is 66% more pixels than the previous generation Kindle Fire. The device also has a 1.5 GHz processor, 60% faster than the last model. The device costs $139 and ships on October 2nd.
