The first annual National Readathon Day, a marathon to encourage reading across the nation, is coming up on January 24, 2015.
To find out how you can participate, the National Book Foundation has put together a Google Map of participating bookstores and libraries across the U.S. From Skylight Books in Los Angeles to the Joseph H. Plumb Memorial Library in Massachusetts, the readathon will take place from noon – 4 pm in respective time zones.
The campaign, sponsored by Penguin Random House, Goodreads and Mashable, will benefit the National Book Foundation’s educational programs.
