The National Book Award finalists will be revealed on MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ program once again this year.
The announcement will be made today (October 16th) on the show hosted by Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist (pictured)? The winners will be revealed at a gala ceremony on November 20 in New York City at Cipriani Wall Street.
Scarborough and Brzezinski will host the awards ceremony this year.
National Book Foundation president David Steinberger had this statement in the release:
Last year’s Finalist announcement on ‘Morning Joe’ was a great success … We more than doubled the Foundation’s website visits from the previous year. Making the announcement on television gave us a whole new audience for these great books, and expanding the literary audience is our main goal.
