NaNoWriMo Tip # 17: Answer Twitter Questions

By Jason Boog

Having trouble coming up with motivation for your National Novel Writing Month characters? Click on the You Asked It! site and answer random questions posed by people on Twitter.

It is the perfect way to peek inside the thoughts of real people, finding the conflicts (both large and small) that motivate them.

AppNewser has more: The Twitter tool You Asked It! lets users answer random questions posed on Twitter, setting a 30-second time limit to keep the responses timely. You can literally answer a stranger’s question in the time it takes you to read this post.

This is our seventeenth NaNoWriMo Tip of the Day. As writers around the country join the writing marathon this month, we will share one piece of advice or writing tool to help you cope with this daunting project.
