Romance novelist Maya Banks has signed a “multi-million” dollar multi-book deal with Avon Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers. Banks will write a new romance series called Slow Burn will consist of three books.
Kimberly Whalen, Executive Vice President of Trident Media Group, sold the world English rights to May Chen, Senior Editor at Avon Books. Avon Books will publish each book in trade paperback and as an eBook. The first novel Keep Me Safe will come out on in October 2014. The second will be out January 2015 and the final book will publish March 2015.
This isn’t all that the author of the bestselling KGI series and Sweet series has been up to lately. In May, she signed another multi-million dollar deal with Berkley Books, an imprint of Penguin Group (USA), for a new trilogy of erotic romance novels. The Surrender Trilogy will publish next year.
