Matt Sobel has agreed to take the helm of a movie based on Maggie Stiefvater’s young adult novel, The Scorpio Races. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sobel recently showcased a feature film called Take Me to the River at the Sundance Film Festival.
Here’s more from the article: “English screenwriter and playwright Jack Thorne wrote the screenplay based on the 2011 book, which was published by Scholastic. David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith’s KatzSmith Productions is producing, while Jay Ireland will executive produce.”
