Marvel Comics announced plans for a new Jessica Jones comic series. This project will be published under the Marvel NOW! initiative.
Brian Michael Bendis, a writer, and Michael Gaydos, an artist, collaborated together to create this character. They introduced her in the first issue of the Alias comic series.
In an interview with Marvel.com, Bendis revealed that he has come on board to write the story for the new Jessica Jones series. Gaydos will also return to create the interior artwork. David Mack has signed on to create the covers. Matt Hollingsworth will take on the task of coloring. The first issue will be released on Oct. 5.
