True crime writer Shanna Hogan has inked a book deal for a book about the Dr. Martin MacNeill murder trial.
MacNeill was arrested in 2012 on first degree murder charges, accused of murdering his wife. The trial opens tomorrow. Martin Literary & Media Management president Sharlene Martin negotiated the deal with St. Martin’s Press executive editor Charles Spicer.
Martin will also handle tv and film rights for the book. Hogan is also the author of Picture Perfect: The Jodi Arias Story and Dancing With Death: The Marjorie Orbin Story.
