Earlier this year, Yousafzai survived an assassination attempt–nearly murdered for her quest to get an education in a Taliban-controlled region. Readers can post pictures of themselves reading a book on the Facebook page or email the organizers.

In 2009 the then 11 year old began blogging for BBC Urdu about her struggle to receive an education in the Taliban controlled Swat Valley of Pakistan … We stand with Malala, and all women and girls worldwide fighting for their fundamental right of education.”
