Madeline McIntosh Named COO at Random House

Random House president of sales, digital and operations Madeline McIntosh has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO). According to paidContent, she begins her new role immediately.

McIntosh will continue to perform her previous duties which include overseeing IT, corporate digital product development, corporate marketing development, digital and print sales, audio and travel publishing and third-party distribution. She will report to CEO Markus Dohle.

At Random House, McIntosh has worked in sales, online sales and within the audiobook group. In 2008, she left the company to serve as director of Kindle Content Acquisition in Europe before returning to Random House less than two years later. (via Sarah Weinman)
