M.R. Carey announced plans to write a prequel for his post-apocalyptic novel, The Girl With All The Gifts.
Carey (pictured, via) shared the news with a video announcement on his Facebook page. The prequel story takes place about ten years prior to the first novel.
Carey assures fans that this book “can be read completely independently of The Girl With All The Gifts.” This untitled prequel project will be published in May 2017. (via Tor.com)
