My Featured Book of Color Pick of the Day is by Kyra Davis. It is called Lust, Loathing and a Little Lip Gloss and it is the fourth installment in the Sophie Katz series.
This one is about a sexy private eye named, Sophie who finds herself wrapped up this time in a bit of a ghost story when she starts to hear mysterious footsteps and other odd behavior in her new house. True to her investigative nature, Sophie has to crack this case and get to the bottom of it.
Like the main character, Davis is also biracial and brings that sentiment to the written page in this next book in the Sophie Katz series.
