Judith Regan has hired Lucas Wittmann for the newly launched Regan Arts. Wittmann will serve as the new Phaidon division’s Executive Editor and Associate Publisher.
Wittman comes to Regan Arts from The Daily Beast where he has spent the last four years as books editor and senior editor. Here is more from the press release: “He won a National Magazine Award for Book Beast, one of the most widely read literary sites, and also edited international and feature stories on everything from the yakuza to Iraqi jihadis to neuroscience. He is the co-founder of the new literary cabaret series House of SpeakEasy, a non-profit dedicated to working with writers to develop new audiences and bring them to schools.”
Earlier this month, the company announced new hires Fritz Brantley, Ron Hoganand Michael Szczerban.
