The first trailer has been unleashed for Indignation. The story for this film adaptation comes from Philip Roth’s 2008 novel.

Here’s more from The Huffington Post: “The story of Marcus Messner, a whip-smart working-class Jewish boy who moves to Ohio to attend a conservative college, ‘Indignation’ is a coming-of-age story set in the early 1950s. Against the backdrop of the Korean War, Marcus explores his first romance on a campus that often clashes with the cultural liberation he desires.”

The video embedded above offers glimpses of cast members Logan Lerman, Sarah Gadon, and Tracy Letts. According to Indiewire, James Schamus served as both the director and the screenwriter. The theatrical release date has been scheduled for July 29. (via Slash Film)
